The family that owned this house built a small shed for their son to live in.

One can see in the picture below left, where the old rainwater pipe dumped water in a corner between the front door and sliding doors. The pipe brackets remain in the stucco. The small shed hid the cracks in the foundation and the sunken nature of the earth very well.

A berm was built around the front of the house to prevent the neighbors rainwater from draining into this houses crawlspace.

If this doesnt resolve the problem, the house, in its entirety, will be raised up 1 meter, the original foundation buried under 20m³ of dirt and the house placed on simple foundation stones.
